Postgraduate Voice Production and Training Programme

The programmes are intended for graduates of university-level music schools, specializing in conducting, vocal music or musicology. The objective is to perfect participants' skills in conducting vocal ensembles as well as train a group of music instructors and consultants who would respond to the needs of the social choir movement. The programmes last four semesters. The classes are held once a month, for two days (Saturday and Sunday), at a venue in Warsaw or during major national choral festivals. The summer session is held at the Academy and lasts a fortnight. The following classes are taught within the programmes: conducting, choir practice, voice production and training, score analysis, history of musical styles (selected issues), solfeggio, Gregorian chant and semiology, acting.
