Department of String Instruments and Chamber Music

The Department was established on 1st October 1982. The artistic and academic activities of the Department aim to ensure the highest standards in teaching young artists by monitoring and evaluating the implemented teaching methods, the administered tests and exams, the selected repertoire as well as by organizing symposiums and masterclasses. The teaching staff are accomplished instrumentalists — soloists, chamber and orchestra musicians.
