Department of Sound Engineering

Among the objectives of the Department of Sound Engineering, which was established in 2007, is ensuring high quality standards in teaching through active collaboration with the governing body of the Faculty with regard to appointing appropriate staff, implementing original syllabi and organizing the curriculum. The Department aims to develop artistic activity by cooperating with other units within the Academy as well as other tertiary-level educational institutions (execution of music recordings and sound recordings in film). The research activity of the Department can be observed in the organization of workshops, seminars and symposiums taught and attended by the most renowned sound engineers in the music and film industry, among them Andrzej Lipiński, Henryk Kuźniak, Małgorzata Lewandowska, Małgorzata Przedpełska, Henryk Zastróżny, Piotr Siedlaczek, Jacek Hamela, or Nikodem Wołk-Łaniewski.
