Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music Chamber Choir

The tradition of the Choir dates back to 1986 when it was first composed of students training in all music fields. The Choir works with the philharmonic orchestras of Bydgoszcz, Gdańsk, Białystok and Heidelberg to perform vocal-instrumental and a capella choral compositions. The intense artistic activity encompasses tours in Poland and abroad as well as participation in a number of Polish and foreign competitions, in which the Choir has frequently been awarded prizes. Perhaps one of the most significant achievements was the 2004 performance of Handel's oratorio Messiah, under the baton of Paul Esswood.
